Never allow your business card to be a static document that resembles the phone book. Make your cards WORK for you. A business card should include a short list of ONLY your most profitable offerings. Make it easy for folks to reach you in the manner that you want them to. Do you prefer them to visit your office? Should they call you instead? Want customers to communicate with you by e-mail? Is it better if they simply buy from your web site? Your business card steers this activity by the way that you print the contact information and in what priority order the data is seen. Ask yourself "What exactly do I want the person who holds my business card to do?" The answer will help determine the direction of the concept, design, tone, data and colors used in making your business card. One last thing, cards are not expensive so order extra and give everyone two cards. At less than ten cents each, you cannot afford to keep them to yourself.
